Hi Linda, the next steam day event at the museum is the Leicester Vintage Festival on Saturday 25th June (1.00pm - 5.00pm) & Sunday 26th June 2016 (12.00noon - 5.00pm). Here's the supporting details as below: This two day event celebrates our past: with the sights and sounds of steam, vintage vehicles, 1970’s theme and live music. Visit the craft marquee or ride on the narrow gauge railway, come along in fancy dress, Victorian, Steam punk or Star Wars. Three of the mighty Gimson beam engines will be steamed together each afternoon at 3.30pm. This is the only place in the world where such a wonder can be seen. The ever popular LMTA café will be serving refreshments throughout the afternoon on both days. Picnic tables are also available within the museum grounds. Admission Adults £3.50 accompanied children free (Plus small charge for train rides). Hope that helps, many thanks for the interest. Best wishes, James
