These days it is a huge open space forming Sultanahmet Square, (outlining the former racetrack), between the blue mosque and the hagia Sophia, frequented by thousands of visitors everyday. Full review by JnVSydney

We came across this going into the Blue Mosque. Didn't know it existed nor had it on my list of things to do. The hippodrome isn't even really there anymore so you need to envision it how you like.… Full review by JennC1212
