The most convenient access to the various attractions of the park is via the town of Lincoln, NH, just off I-95. There are no formal entrances to the state park per se, but merely numerous portions with great hikes (eg The Flume, The Basin, etc).

Sorry; most of the main areas are not handicap accessible. This is an area mainly for hikers, though nice views are accessible from parking turnoffs.

Hi. I'd like to visit the park for an afternoon and I have a couple of questions. I'm mostly interested in mountain views, not so much the gorge.Which area should I go to? Also, having a hard time putting the park into my gps it wont recognize Tramway in Franconia or Lincoln. Any suggestions? Thanks

Lincoln NH is a town so I am not sure why your gps won’t recognize it; The parkway is only one lane in each direction and there are a few areas where you can pull off the road to take pictures. Franconia Notch state park itself has a good sized visitor center, a bus can take you close to the flume if you don’t have much time. But there are mountain views everywhere. We did not visit the tramway, so I am not sure about this part. Cannon Mountain Aerial Tranway popped up when I googled
