Southern Cross Hospital New Plymouth is a modern private surgical hospital serving the city and wider region. Established in 1983, and the only private surgical hospital in the city, it provides services to around 4000 patients each year. Our team provides services and excellent post-operative nursing care across a wide range of elective surgical services, including orthopaedic surgery, gynaecology, ophthalmology, oral and facial maxillary, urology, otolaryngology (ENT), plastic reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, and general and endoscopic surgery.
