A profile is a critical part of your Outlook experience. The profile consists of the accounts, data files, and settings that specify where your email messages are saved. To create a new profile, use the profile picker: Hold Shift while starting Outlook.

With Edge Chromium, you can add multiple profiles. Profiles allow multiple users to operate in a shared environment while maintaining access to their personalized browser settings, bookmarks, and extensions.

To create a new profile, use the profile picker. Hold Shift while starting Outlook.

To switch user, you can: Select Start , and select the account name icon (or picture) of the user account you want to switch to. This will take you to the sign-in screen for the selected account, where you can enter the credentials for that account to access it. Select Start , select your user picture or the Accounts icon, and select Switch user.

In case your user profile gets corrupted, here are the steps to create a new one. Add a new user account and configure it as an administrator. For detailed steps, see the article Manage user accounts in Windows. Sign in with the newly created account and copy the files from the corrupted profile:

To add a Profile: Select the All Accounts profile button from the menu options on the left. In the Create Profiles window, follow the steps to create your new profile.
