Is doing 50-100 pushups a day doing anything? : r/Fitness - Reddit
Okay, thank you. I've just started doing push-ups and the most I can do right now is about 20 before my arms are done for, but I hope to reach 50 and then eventually 100 a day. Do you also know if doing the same amount of sit-ups is any good? When I try to situps my back starts to hurt even though I have a pretty flat stomach :/ any tips?
Will 50 pushups a day make a noticeable difference?
50 push-ups a day for the rest of your life will increase your overall health & happiness and help control your stress levels. It’s not just about pecs, but about your core and wrist strength too. I can only do 20 max, but when I started, I could barely do 5. I do them with my kids before bed and we usually all end up laughing.

If you can do 20 chin ups you can start adding weight with a dip belt and doing chin ups. Check out kinobody on YouTube for weighted chin ups that's kind of his thing. Make sure to do all the grip types for pull ups and chin ups. But yeah with curls, lat pull downs and chin ups you can probably build some nice arms and a nice back too.

What Effect does doing just 50 Situps and 50 Push-ups have?
I normally just do 40-50 normal push-ups and then 40-50 diamond push-ups. And then about 50-70 mountain climbers. Usually every other day, unless I get a little lazy. Sometimes I'll ramp it up to 170 pushups (mixed normal and diamond) just because I'm in the mood. But I'm not trying to become a body-builder or break some personal record here.

Bodyweight - Progression From 5 Push-Ups To 50+ | The Forum
Jan 22, 2020 · A couple of months ago I couldn't do any push-ups, but through a combination of losing weight and barbell bench press, I can now manage a max of 5 perfect reps. I am still losing weight, and I have about 30lbs more to go which should make the push-ups even a bit easier. But my goal is to be able to perform 50+ push-ups in a single set.
Are 50 push-ups in one go considered impressive/above average?
Sep 18, 2023 · 50 perfect form push-ups means you train specifically for push-ups. I used to be able to do 50-60 when I did push-ups every single day. Now I still work out frequently but don’t focus on push-ups, and doubt I can do more than 25. You can half ass a lot of push-ups if you want tennis elbow or want to fuck up your shoulder though.
