Aug 2, 2018 · I too, was diagnosed with an aneurysm in the right internal carotid artery 3×4 mm, and another one on the left side in the cavernous part of the internal carotid artery 3mm. Vascular Surgeon has said a repeat ct angiography to be done in 6 months. I am quite worried, as my mother passed away 16 years ago at the age of 47 from an aneurysm.

The ophthalmologist said blood flow needs to be restored to my eye. My cardiologist has said there is nothing that can be done for a 100% blocked carotid artery.

Jan 11, 2025 · The cardiologist I saw said that I may have been exercising too much which was causing inflammation that could have led to the calcium in my arteries. My EKG was normal, I had a carotid artery ultrasound which came back minimal 1-15%, and I am awaiting a stress test in February 11. Any advice or words of wisdom or encouragement?
