Jan 12, 2018 · Can anyone provide any insight about the differences between the micro USB port on the left side of the controller and the larger USB port on the bottom of the controller. As far as I understand, the RC can only be charged through the left side micro USB port, but any of the ports can be used for connecting to a phone/tablet.

Aug 21, 2015 · The Phantom's USB cable is tucked up way inside the battery compartment and can easily be overlooked. What the picture shows is the XT60 connector to the flight battery.... the USB connector is a 2nd connector not visible in picture.

Dec 5, 2013 · Loosen the 4 screws that hold it together, and carefullly (you can break wires!) take it apart to access the mini usb port. This is outlined in one of the DJI sites/how to You tube vids, can't remember.
