Some of the degrees I seem to be attracted to have attainable A levels grades but I am one gcse grade off in the specific requirements. Whilst the topics of whatever you're doing might sound interesting, I'm pretty sure whoever made the spec still tries to make it as boring as possible. Because for me, my school picked probably the most boring topics of them all (even the coursework q -_-) and about 12 chapters that I've done so far on one side of the course, I've liked 2 of them.
