Sep 20, 2024 · Plus I will throw in the fact that if you want to run a meat mixer off of a grinder, that grinder needs a reverse mode switch. You need to mix clockwise for a bit then counterclockwise for a bit. Not a problem with a manual crank, but not all grinders have reverse. But some do. It is necessary though.

May 26, 2021 · My MES can probably fit 15-20lb max so I was looking at getting the "improved" LEM 25lb tilt mixer and a #12 grinder to drive it, the one thing that I'm seeing though is that when LEM added their "big bite" technology they removed the reverse option for the motor so the mixer would only be able to spin the paddles in one direction.

I own an older Cabelas #32 grinder; and I have an opportunity to buy a used LEM mixer, the model is the Lem 869, 25lb mixer. It looks identical to the Cabelas model I have borrowed before from a friend. Any one happen to know if the LEM mixers work with a Cabelas grinder?
