No respect whatsoever for traffic laws and common sense on pavement. The apparent rule is that you must ride wheelies, send dirt and gravel flying, or both whenever possible.

Jan 15, 2025 · Not much vintage on that Segway bike. I assume the 2nd shock is for the extra weight. I've owned some big motorcycles, and that thing was borderline intimidating. I didn't see Stark there, but this wasn't a bike show either. Kinda surprised how many bikes I saw. I only photographed maybe half the bikes. There was some redundancy.

Dec 23, 2024 · I’ve seen products from ONYX, Sur Ron, Segway, and Super 73 that can weigh quite a bit more (sometimes 100lbs) and are setup more like dirt bikes than street motorcycles. I would consider the 72 Volt Scrambler to be more of a street and hybrid model than a true dirt bike. The pedal assist performance is very good.

I ride daily and usely stay on trails but enjoy jumping off the trail and doing a little dirt riding. I enjoy the rear hub motors and throttle but I try to use the bike to get some exercise too.

Dec 25, 2024 · Depends on the bike. Some - particularly the adventure bikes from the hunting bike folks - are pedalable. I think its a mistake to see a dual-motor bike as a powerhouse. The benefits of 2wd are really achieved thru distributed traction.

Apr 16, 2020 · From what I understand, there is no way to prevent throttle movement on the bike (a negative). The pedal assist in level one or two keeps speeds relatively low (7-12 MPH) (a positive). The weight is also pretty heavy (a negative). The seat height is low to the ground and the bike has a low CG, making it easier to handle (a positive).
