Leading up to Fallout 76's release Bethesda made a fake sugar bombs ad on their Instagram to promote the game. Instead of actyally making the cereal themselves to make it look like how it does in-game, they used a bowl of goldfish crackers.

Yeah, it was seen as a good thing in the fifties. But at the same time in moderation was a bad thing if consumed at a high rate. Figuring if Sugar could get you to a vault quicker. it was in the long run in the end a bad thing. as too much sugar slowed you down, do to weight gain.
