I bought an unlocked iphone 13 pro from apple and I put the verizon SIM card on it. I want to still use verizon but from what I understand I am stuck with the $800 promotion with the s22 ultra and can't sell it since its finance.

You should be able to get your down payment back. But honestly just go back to the store and ask. Or call the customer service number, they should be able to let you know.
