City leaders make progress on MAPS 4 sidewalks Construction on the first two phases of MAPS 4 sidewalks is underway citywide, continuing the momentum toward making Oklahoma City more walkable and safer for pedestrians. Over the next year, the MAPS 4 penny will be used to build more than 35 sidewalks, with more planned through 2031.
