I finished the final touches on this painting study for my mock Dune 2 poster. Boy was I getting picky with that sandworm! A study like this is so incredibly important to do for me before starting the final art. It’s where I work out what I want to do specifically with the painting materials. I am really loving this white acrylic ink and it’s translucent qualities. It was especially helpful when I was trying to bring in some brighter values at the top of this painting, above the sandworm. I know
