Join The Wild Tales jungle survival course 23rd of August to 4th September and learn the skills to survive the Amazon rainforest. Among the skills is fish traps that can secure you a considerable meal if done correctly. In this case Lionel our lead instructor had been setting up one of the spring traps we demonstrate and this big Himara was hooked in the morning. A fish this size could feed you for several days and same type of trap can be build almost anywhere in the world. The Indigenous skill

In Guyana we are so lucky to still have a healthy population of Black Caimans, the biggest type of Caiman. These guys can get up to about 450 KG or 1000 Lbs and when you see them in the water or the river banks they certainly do signal respect. These guys are extremly agile while in the water, but as the video suggest very cautious when humans are around. This video is from the Rupununi river which is one of the best places in Guyana to experience these amazing animals 🇬🇾👏 #caiman #reptilesof
